In SONUS EORUM, which started as a noise music studio project in Berlin 2020, Mathieu Sylvestre live- records, loops and transforms Leander Reininghaus' rerouted live sounds and samples, which are used as a source of objective material in order to create a geometric response to the sound flow of the loops.

Mathieu Sylvestre is a French noise musician who works with loopers, instruments and field recordings.
Leander Reininghaus is a German composer, producer and livelooping multiinstrumentalist.

The releases presented here are the audio works of SONUS
EORUM's ongoing studio sessions.

Like 'fthorá' before, 'nyx' comes as one long droney track, this time with a somewhat grinding quality, which reminds of a workshop where things are made. Here, we envisioned the biggest workshop of all, the universe, where stars are born.
So we named the track after the primordial goddess of the night who stands for creation out of chaos.
